Come and support our U12's & U14's this Easter Weekend as part of the 30th Valley Parade Memorial Tournament at Marley Sport Stadium.

Easter Weekend April 2nd to April 5th 2015

On 11th May 1985 fifty-six people lost their lives and hundreds more suffered horrific burn injuries when a fire swept through the main stand at Bradford City’s football ground during their match with Lincoln City. The Valley Parade Memorial Tournament is organised in commemoration of those people who lost their lives on that tragic day.

Once again Bingley Juniors play an integral part of the weekend events hosting the Hamm team from Germany at U12s and U14s age groups of which are invited to take part in the tournament.
The spirit of the competition is to promote “friendship through football” both locally and internationally and for a number of years Bingley teams and the teams from Hamm have forged an unbelievable friendship and players past and present have had many great memories of the exchanges that have taken place and long may this continue offering our future players a similar experience.

From the moment the Hamm team arrive to the moment they leave the days are packed with a full itinerary of events. This year is no exception and being the 30th anniversary as a club we intend to make this a memorable weekend.

Events taking place will involve the tournament itself at Marley Sports Stadium Keighley which will see the U12s Playing on Saturday 4th April and the U14s playing on Sunday 5th April, amongst other teams involved will be Lincoln City who were playing Bradford City on that day, Bradford City and other local sides.
Swimming and a trip to the football museum along with many other events are planned for the weekend as well as our Famous Race night with additional entertainment on the Sunday evening.
We welcome everyone to come along and support our teams over the weekend and be part of this prestigious event, the race night held on Sunday 5th April at Bradford and Bingley Sports club from 7.00pm onwards is open to everyone who would like to enjoy a great social evening and don’t forget its Bank Holiday Monday next day so no work for most…

So whether its past players or coaches reliving their memories or the younger players waiting their turn to be a part of future events or any of the players, coaches, parents connected to Bingley Juniors we welcome you to share in what should be a memorable occasion.
